What's up Boys? It's Been a While.

Done. Was it a reaction the Lamectin, or is that just a suspect because of the timing? Had a friend with diabetes whose feet looked similar from poor circulation, but yours are far worse. Scary ****.

And congrats on making the decision. I've lost too many who went through all the motions for years, but never actually made the personal decision to succeed (which is what it all boils down to). *****.
Your daughter is fortunate. Keep succeeding.

Do you mean my daughter is fortunate because I quit drinking? I have two daughters. Just ask @ThxOne or @Buck. My whole body pretty much looked like that. The worst part is it goes after your organs.

How bout that Joe Biden fellas?........🤭 things sure are getting sour

My reaction was to Lamotrigine (Lamectil).

It's not trolling. You are engaging me directly in conversation.

I responded to Bobby because I have/had a friend who dealt with DRESS but did not make it. All ******** aside I can understand his distress with his situation. It's why I told him to keep his chin up.

You know somebody who passed away from DRESS? The **** is no joke. I was very lucky that they diagnosed it fairly early.

I take care of my schizophrenic brother and blind wife. By Robs new healthcare standard I should be first in line for any health related care. I love it.
So now THREE meatheads follow me here to bust my balls when I kept it solely in the Thunderdome, but I'M the problem.

Interesting how that works, huh?

this here reminds me of laying in a hospital bed with 5 different IV bags hanging with a drain bag off my right knee, with over 120 stitches off each side of my scrapped infected knee(50/50 shot of loosing that) passing massive blood clots with a (50/50 % ) chance of survival. Later learned I had Type 2 in there (never knew that) My legs were swollen with blood clots in them. Was in there for almost 2-1/2 months. Ended up with a stent in my arm and on crutches and finally got leg drain bag removed. Had self medicate myself through stent with several types of meds twice a day @home for almost 3 months with weird bags and stuff., and give myself blood clot med shots daily with Dr. Visits 3 days a week.PITA to Drive myself there. My knee is still jacked up/ needs total replacement. At least the infection was removed and scrapped out. Now my knee cap is pushing out the backside of my knee. Just found out that 3 of my lower disc have collapsed down to my Sacrius of which there is no room in between the disc. I have several other bad disc. Like 13 or so total, bad kneck, left roto needs attention, both elbows as well,Have neuropathy both legs and feet, gum disease from Type 2 now loosing my teeth, lol,and a hernia that needs attention on the belly button thats pretty ugly. Im 5'9- 165lbs, and have always tried stay healthy. But I get where you are coming from. I had a Bad Blood infection that created a ball on my last two vertebrae that swelled the size of a hard ball and was told I may have had 12 hrs to live had I not came in for an emergency procedure. A few other things. LOL. Maybe I should have just ate like I didnt care and treat my body like a trash bag?? LOL

What caused all of your injuries? How old are you?

Yes. Fortunate for all your family that you made the decision to do what is best for you (and by default, them).

I actually told my daughter, "I'm ready to die" before I went back into the hospital (psych ward). I was put back on Paxil and continued taking Prednisone. I weighed 139 pounds at the time. My skin was hanging all over my body. I looked very emaciated and malnourished. I had a lady say that I looked like an AIDS patient. I was also told that I looked like a meth head and crack head. When I got out of the psych ward I had gained about 13 pounds and was up to 152. I threw any thoughts of a diet out the window and ate 24/7. I was taking donuts and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to bed with me (uncrustables) to eat in the middle of the night. When I tell you that my skin was peeling and flaking you probably can't gauge what I mean. The attached pic is what I swept up after taking my clothes off to shower twice a day. You can imagine what the inside of my truck looked like.

Amazing what the human body can endure and keep chugging along, even to the brink of complete shutdown and then return to full function.

Man. No joke there. Ive been told that Its a Miracle that Im even walking these days. I have my days for sure though
Addiction and the body's method of getting used to it is similarly wild. Had a buddy who was popping almost 50 Ultrams a day. Rarely missed a day of work and always made his sales quota. Family members who could put away a 24 pack o a 1.75 a night, and still go to work every day.

And then they quit (luckily before permanent damage) and the body fully recovered. Wild.

I told my daughter that I felt like my body was shutting down and preparing to die. I had bad facial edema (Panda face), thrush, and strawberry tongue for over a .
month. I wouldn't wish DRESS on anyone.
