Yet another diversion. Are you capable of anything else?
How could I simultaneously move toward AND away from a topic?
Doppler Effect?
Nope. I searched the thread. You never provided the 2014-2023 price of 85/15 Angus ground at the supermarkets you named where you shop.
I would if those records were kept.
You never shared a real plan that you would use, or that any POTUS should use to improve inflation.
I did actually.
You never explained why you continued to defend Mauch without actually doing any due diligence into his writings or his actions.
You won't explain your confusion on what defending someone is even after being told that I am not defending anyone.
So you know that things are being done wro g without knowing how they can be done right.
You want an inflation-free economy.
Except that’s impossible.
So you are angry that Biden isn’t doing the impossible.
Got it.
If what Biden is doing and has done is bad then the opposite would be? Anyone?
You used the price to support your complaint about inflation, except you don’t even know if the price is actually a good indicator.
It’s a lack of critical thinking, due diligence, preparedness. It’s burned you in past. Why continue doing it?
My indicator is I shop for myself, I pay attention to prices. I get used to paying specific prices for specific items. When I paid a specific amount for an item when Trump was President and I then pay several dollars more for the same item after Biden became President then it doesn't take a degree in economics to know that whatever Biden is doing is not good. If I paid $5 for that beef under Trump and Biden's plan to recover the economy was inflation then a controlled mild inflation might have been better. One where that beef would only rise in price by a few cents on the dollar. Perhaps in the $5.35lb range would cause far less stress on the citizens of this country. But causing said beef to rise well over $2 more per pound is ludicrous. That is just using beef as an example. Biden's bills and actions have directly caused many, many every day things to skyrocket in price.

You don't care that I am right, you'd rather just argue about showing you proof that I paid what I paid or showing us graphs of adjusted prices and inflation over time. Tell me, how relevant is all that in the span of a few weeks, months or even a single presidential term?
Stop trying to tap dance away from the topic. We’ve already covered the phrase, the meaning of the phrase, the various ways it can be constructed.
If you are THAT convinced it is wrong, contact the editors of any dictionary where it is defined and usage examples are provided.
Give them your credentials as an expert in language, and convince them to correct the errors if their ways.
Ok so I am assuming then that YOU have credentials that give you some kind of leg up here? Google is not an education.
Good catch. I’m sure that one letter sent you into a tailspin of confusion, thinking I had started a conversation about Loy NAUCH, when all along we’ve be talking about Loy MAUCH.
It was killing me. Why do you care so much about what Mauch has to say? Does he directly affect your life?

It doesn't take a degree in economics, but it takes at least the effort to spend a few hours educating yourself on the causes of inflation. Since Biden's economic policies aren't drastically different that Trump's loose goosey money policies, so it's interesting that you would blame Biden. That's like me blaming Biden for dropping marijuana sales, resulting in lower marijuana sales and shortage of (marijuana tax) funds for this that and other. Or blaming Biden for the homeless epidemic without bothering to look into the actual causes.

Should I blame Trump?

Nope.

So, you have no point of reference to complain, then. Gels well with your denial that history matters.

I did actually.

You won't explain your confusion on what defending someone is even after being told that I am not defending anyone.
If you take an action but deny the action, does that mean you never did it?
If you drive to the store but deny you drive, does that mean you never drove?
Erase history by denying it.
If what Biden is doing and has done is bad then the opposite would be? Anyone?
If there were only ONE thing done, then it’s easy to say “do the opposite “.
But the economy is FAR more complex. MANY different things that can effect change.
So which ones did he do wrong that he should change? Which ones would YOU do correctly as president?

Except beef hasn’t risen over $2 a pound since Trump.
In 2020 while Trump was POTUS for 8 more months, it was $4.73/pound. A few months ago it was $4.79.
Six cents per pound more. 1.2% A $3/year difference for the average beef eater.
Except the average salary for the US worker has gone up more than 1.2%, so that would make beef cheaper than it was in 2020.

When it comes to money, it’s ALL relevant.
Do you think it’s a good idea to vote for a president based on your beliefs about history, or about facts?
Does it make sense to complain about stuff you simply believe, even after your belief is proved incorrect?

Ok so I am assuming then that YOU have credentials that give you some kind of leg up here? Google is not an education.
Google is nothing more than a pathway to information. Why do you think that Google actually makes the data.
If you Google MacBeth and read the linked-to book, do you think Google wrote it?

It was killing me. Why do you care so much about what Mauch has to say? Does he directly affect your life?
Any politician can directly affect my everyday life. That’s part of politics.
Did you not know this?

Cool. This is why you can't have an adult, "grown up" conversation with a person like you.

Anyone like you who makes judgements based on beliefs and feelings, denies doing things that are easily proved he has done, outright lies to support his beliefs and feelings, refuses to answer any questions that will hurt his argument, is obviously the one incapable of an adult conversation.
Those are all childlike tactics.

If you want to prove your maturity, discuss the actual topics that crop up here, and not every tangent you can use to avoid having to be educated about a subject.

Give it a try. Roll back to the topics of what specific things Biden is doing wrong regarding inflation.
Show us exactly how much more 85/15 Angus ground beef costs now than it did 2017-2020.
Show us how the meme and information I posted about Loy Mauch is all made up ti support a narrative.

Because those are the things we are talking about, not your incorrect belief that “in your wheelhouse” is grammatically incorrect.

I hear ya Democrat. Rock on.

It won't be with you Democrat. Rock on.

You used the "grammatically incorrect" label, not me. I said "in your wheelhouse" has become accepted over time however I think it sounds ignorant. I also ask you to explain its correlation to an actual wheelhouse and how the phrase came to be. You diverted like normal. Why, because you don't know.

I am so tired of people like you, all you do is argue, argue, and argue some more. You think that if someone doesn't bow down to you and prove something to you then they are wrong. Looks like below is a $2.80 difference in the price of 85/15 Ground Beef.

Here are some scans from 2019... pretty sure Trump was still in office.

Diversion and avoidance. Typical Thxone rinse and repeat.

Like I said, argue that it's incorrect with dictionary editors. Until they change their information to match your beliefs, I'll take their word over yours any day.
You "think" it sounds ignorant. You BELEIVE it sounds ignorant. Beyond that, you stated it is wrong.
Except you can't prove it in ANY way.
Like I said, the skills of reading and understanding words are not in your wheelhouse.

You thing USDA choice and Angus ground are the same meat? No wonder you are confused.
I suppose you think regular unleaded and premium 91 are the same gas, too?
When you shop for speakers, do you compare the price of a JL sub today with the price of a Pyle sub from 2017?

And, BTW, Trump wasn't president in September of 2016. Obama was. If you like the prices above, I guess you can thank him.

If you want to compare apples to apples, tell us the price of 85/15 Angus ground beef in 2017 when Trump was president.
Tell us the price at the store where you shop. Since that price may be high and skew things, go ahead and tell us the lowest price it hit during his presidency. At the store you shop in.

No indication that it is grammatically incorrect in ANY way.
No indication that it sounds "ignorant".
No indication it shoudl not be used in everyday speech or writing.

Explain the correlation to me Mr. Scholar.

And when Trump took office beef got even cheaper. Pointless arguments tough as no matter how much proof I give you will find another reason to not accept it. I know what I paid then and I know what I pay now and I don't have to prove a damn thing to you nor do I need your approval or acceptance.

$4.89lb for 85/15 Angus Ground Beef under Trump.

Am I allowed to insult you yet? Fill in all the blanks with previous insults then.

I never stated it as grammatically incorrect.
It sounds ignorant.
I stated that it became accepted over time.

So what are you arguing exactly? Are you going to tell me how the phrase came to be and why does it connect with an actual wheelhouse? What's the problem. You demand so much but give so little. Pretty one sided there huh Rob.

Right on.

Explain the correlation to me Mr. Scholar.
You must be using the wrong words again, because your request makes no sense in the context of your incorrect beliefs.

You haven't provided a proof relevant to the price of 85/15 ANGUS during Trump's presidency at the store/s you shop in.
The stores you referenced by name.
Give us the prices of the beef you specifically complained about.
$4.89lb for 85/15 Angus Ground Beef under Trump.
OK. Give us proof of the claim. Memory is always suspect.

Correlation:
noun
noun: correlation; plural noun: correlations; noun: corelation; plural noun: corelations
  1. a mutual relationship or connection between two or more things.
"research showed a clear correlation between recession and levels of property crime"

So how many ways do you think you get to call everyone liars without calling them liars?

Prove to us you are not a federal agent/agitator/informant.
