You live in a fantasy world, because you think the government of your country can’t be or isn’t corrupt. He lives in the real world, where there’s one set of standards for worshippers of the state and another set of standards for dissenters of the state; it’s judgement based on political affiliation and not the actual action committed; it’s ultimately censorship of free speech. The trick is, the state actually hates all of us. Go study what the Nazis did to Jews and Soviet show trials dude.
