OK but there was never a court order for Trump or any other president to cease their policy due to 14th amendment violations. Some people called for it. . . but that's it. So it does not even apply.
And the 14th wont save you when you are being charged with a criminal infraction and going through the due process. It completely changes the circumstances.

For the record, if I was an immigrant living in a shithole like Venezuela I would be trying to cross into America as well. I actually empathize with these people. However, being poor does not and should not qualify you for sanctuary status. And the people I feel worse for are the ones who actually need to seek asylum but are buried under bureaucracy and pushed behind the 11 million migrants who are illegally entering.

Due process is covered by the 14th Amendment...
Due process also prevents you from being jailed while awaiting trial unless there are exigent circumstances.
That doesn't speak to the discussion of family separation, and kids being jailed separately from their parents.

Absolutely it does...if the parent/parents commits a crime and is in custody...the family gets broken up...it happens everyday in the US...illegal immigrants aren't above the laws in place...
