Half dead. Have any input how to bring it back? it used to be a popping place
That's the big question on all the forums I'm on...I have no idea...Facebook killed all of good things...now it's tiktok or whatever else...people these days are to busy proving their special on social media these days...and it's nothing like the "communties" that existed in heyday of the innerweb forums

Keep believing the best there is...is available over the counter 🤣
So, you CAN’T back up what you say.
Got it. Just another empty head, talking loud and saying nothing.

Tell us more about prefab boxes that self-adjust to match vehicle acoustics and driver T/S parameters.

There you go again Rob...making shit up...unless you can point to where I mentioned prefabs...you're just lying out your azz 🤣

Might as well spread some more falsehoods buddy...I know that's the only thing that makes feel "smart" 🥳

I don’t see quote marks around those words in my post. Did you?
”I was C and C++ certified years ago and also have a CCNA certification.”
Sure sounds like a flex to me.
Do you know why it sounds like a flex to you? Because you think everything is a competition and you must win everything.
Well, they have to wipe to a level accepted by the feds for FTI. Do you have info that says they are cheating and skipping the task?
Yes. I will wager that the data cannot be recovered after a full drive wipe with WipeData.
Shall I send a drive to Bobbytwo, and you can pick it up when you fly to visit him in a few weeks?
Sure, why not.
A few posts ago you were suggesting data could be recovered from a forensically wiped drive.
Now you are suddenly someone “in the computer business” and learned that data overwrites are the only way to truly make a drive non-recoverable?
Formatting don’t mean shit to data recovery pros.
Hey, just keep thinking it's all wiped.

You mean copied. The files remain on the hard drive at boot and are copied into RAM, not “moved”.

Not that they are a viable resource for computer info, but PC Magazine has a different opinion.
“Selecting Restart to reboot the computer does not clear memory, but turning it off and on again guarantees that memory is cleared and the system is reset.“
You are backwards.

Answering a question about prefabs is talking about prefabs. If you deny that, then you are saying you’re an idiot who gives answers that have nothing to do with a question.
Make your choice.

So, are you going to back up what you say and show us data recovery on a drive that was forensically wiped?

You are backwards.
Wait. You think the O/S gets erased from the hard drive when loaded into RAM, then rewritten to the hard drive in shutdown?

Then explain how a PC continues to work if power is simply cut, then restored. Where does the O/S reappear on the drive from?

No clue what you are talking about. Back up, ask questions to statements actually made.
I described a process. You said I am backwards.
If I am backwards, then you think the process is that the files are ”moved” from HDD into RAM, then moved back to HDD from the RAM.

Do you know the difference between moving, copying, shortcutting, when it comes to computer files?

Wait, why am I even talking to you. You are literally here just to argue.

Listen, my computer skills surpass yours.
My education in Biology surpasses yours.

I have no desire to dumb myself down arguing with you endlessly day to day.

You think files get moved from the HDD to RAM on boot, then back to the HDD on shutdown. And that Windows is free when you buy a computer.
And you think you know more than me about computers?
WOW.

I liked Blue Murder better than Whitesnake still. Coverdale was just a cheap copy of Robert Plant. That’s the way I always felt anyway.
I agree. I liked WhiteSnake when I was in HS. Years later I bought their Greatest Hits CD and realized Sykes only had the one riff and it really wasn't that good. The Vai stuff was good, but all their big hits were actually pretty mediocre in retrospect.
