The drones are coming; they will eventually be autonomous and constantly watching large public / high traffic areas:

"Officers respond, as well. But most of the time, the drone gets there first — rushing to a set of GPS coordinates punched in by the controller. Sometimes it is there in as fast as 30 seconds."

"A persistent eye in the sky could give a huge boost to police in solving street crimes, particularly in neighborhoods where witnesses tend not to cooperate. But it would also give the government terabytes of data on the movements of everyone, and courts so far have deemed that an unacceptable invasion of privacy."

It's still a split...and it'll be ugly
I agree, we're talking people packing up and moving; as we all know moving is just about the most miserable thing we do voluntarily, which says alot about how deep the divide has become. California is going to be pissed that they're funding Federal spending in anti-LGBTQxyz Alabama. Will there have to be some sort of passport system to ensure that people aren't border hopping for transgender and abortion care? And of course Utah is going to be pissed when abortion clinics pop up along the Colorado/Utah border. And what happens when the woman returns to Utah, needs medical care associated with the abortion, but Colorado is reluctant to share medical records for fear that either the woman or the doc could be prosecuted? It's definitely going to be a messy divorce, but I guess as a nation we've decided this is better than "sleeping with enemy."

Beats defunding the police. I'd love to see drones patrolling the streets by me. It probably wouldn't be a huge leap in technology to program drones to autonomously capture license plates, to recharge themselves, etc. Drones are for more than playing or military operations.

What are we becoming?

“Between 2012 and 2021, nearly 60,000 people were killed at their own request, according to the Dutch government’s euthanasia review committee.“

“Among the 900 people with publicly posted case files, 39 of them were autistic and/or intellectually disabled. A handful were elderly, but 18 of them were younger than 50.”

Are you saying the autistic shouldn't have the right to self-determination?

That national divorce thing will lead to civil war faster than anything

It's just Desantis's record on the issues. Are you unaware of the laws he's been passing? It's all been all over the news; probably even posted in this thread.
I’ve just heard the rhetoric. You might be right. I don’t tend to take peoples word for anything when their political religion is dictating what facts they choose to accept, like our media and most of our whole society. I know that it didn’t take much for liberals to take the side of billionaire Disneys tax breaks. If it was Elon Musk liberals would’ve loved it. Imagine liberals siding with billionaire corporations because they saw a political meme on Facebook. That’s how shallow our politics is.

Taking the side of Disney's tax breaks - to what are you referring? So in the end everything it is to be ignored because everything is political? Then how do you decide who to vote for?

I was trying not to insult you. I just don’t believe you really know what these laws actually say, I think you know the rhetoric of whats being said about the laws. You may be totally correct or have fallen for propaganda. I don’t know. If it was Arizona I may read more in depth to debate with you but it’s Florida. I just don’t give a fvck honestly. I just know that most people know very little, but think they know alot. It’s the dunning-Kruger effect on a national scale.

As I said the legislation was pretty well covered, afterall Desantis was angling to get nominated for POTUS. I don't think Desantis signed a "fake" bill that really didn't restrict DEI in publicly funded institutions or a fake "don't say ghey" bill or never really passed a bill banning CRT in the classroom or that the 6 week abortion ban wasn't really 6 week abortion ban. I highly doubt the liberal media conspired with the conservative media to fool us all into believing this bills were actually signed by Desantis, who openly and proudly takes credit for their passage and is campaigning on their passage.

UN and Macron create the problem by importing people who don’t belong in France, the reaction is riots, now their solution is to spy on everyone. So, because the leader of France and the UN screwed everyone over, now they’re using the problem they created to spy on the French:

“Covering laptops, cars and other connected objects as well as phones, the measure would allow geolocation of suspects in crimes punishable by at least five years' jail.

Devices could also be remotely activated to record sound and images of people suspected of terror offenses, as well as delinquency and organised crime.”
