Makes sense. Can't get the people/world (mainly industrialist and the ruling class) on board with reducing carbon emissions, so the problem has to be dealt with in another manner. I would think this would thrill the neoconservatives - now they can drive their monster trucks guilt free (not that they actually felt guilty before). Really what the worst that can happen - we overshoot the target temp by a few degrees?

It’s another anti-life thing. The sun provides the energy for all life, so they want to control that. Just like more co2 makes the world greener, so does more sunlight.

Again the whole take things out of context approach to science. That said, if pumping tonnes of CO2 into the air and altering the atmosphere/environment doesn't bother you, then why are other alterations so troubling? Ultimately, mankind is going to have to learn to terraform and that's going to start here on earth. Just hope it doesn't have dire consequences, just like we're crossing our fingers hoping global warming doesn't have dire consequences.

CO2 is not natural to the earth when it's a byproduct of manmade factories producing composites that do not naturally occur.

Just because co2 is emitted from a factory doesn’t mean co2 is the problem itself. Co2 is only 0.04% of the earth’s atmosphere. Forever chemicals and toxic waste that poison the water are a massive factor in degradation of the earth and climate.

The transportation industry. AFAIK, no animals except humans have refined crude into gasoline and burned it in combustion engines.
Then there is electricity. AFAIK, no animals except humans have harnessed the science of electricity and made coal or natural gas burning facilities to generate it.
Industry in general. AFAIK, no animals except humans have built millions of factories worldwide that create the volume of CO2 and greenhouse gases that ours have.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I haven't seen any evidence of it happening.
