Yeah they totally said trump didn’t win the 2016 fairly either, they said Russia helped him win the election, etc

If thats what his constituents want, then that's his job. I still can't fathom why DQ want to perform in front of kids. In my 20's I went to a few shows to support friends and there was NEVER children and it was not intended for children.

I don't think it's really what his constituents want - it's a political game and Desantis thinks this is the path to the White House.

I think it depends on the "show." I taken the kids to Hamburger Mary's in Denver. Some of the stuff that's show up on Tik Tok is definitely over the line. The way I see it, if it would be illegal if it was female "dancers," then it should be unacceptable for Drag Queens.

Stolen election was the entire GOP platform. If you weren't a hardcore stolen election conspiracy theorist, then you weren't getting nominated in 2022. Liz Cheney, who is a "perfect" conservative according to her voting record, didn't get nominated because she opposed what had become the GOP platform. Additionally, Russia unequivocally interfered in the 2016 elections. Trump has yet to produce a shred of evidence to support his claims. Attorney's have been sanctioned for bringing Trump's "stolen election" cases to court. Don't forget Jan 6th. Election officials have actually gone into hiding for fear of their lives, many others have quit their positions. Trump was calling election officials asking them to find votes. Trump tried to get Pence to overturn the electoral college, they were trying to have alternative electors, etc. You're comparing hyperbole and a talking point from the DNC to a man who literally did try to steal the election and then turned "stolen election" into the GOP platform.

Calling Trump's electoral win essentially a fraud and in a lot of cases "stolen" from hilary was a huge fund raiser leading up the mid terms that cycle and beyond...you may be right about the gop now and I'm not arguing that...the dems pulled the same stuff after Trump's win though...

The Dems differ from Trump/GOP in some distinct ways. Most significantly, Trump actually tried to steal an election. Two, it was a talking point (plank) for the DNC; stolen election was the GOP platform - you could check every single GOP position (like Cheney did), but if you weren't a stolen election disciple you couldn't even get nominated - you're comparing an apple cart to an apple orchard. Three, Russia actually interfered in the 2016 election to keep Clinton out of office; there was no widespread voter fraud or ballot manipulation against Trump in 2020.

If Putin is still in power, Russia will probably be actively trying to get Trump elected again in 2024 if Putin is still in power.

This guy is so full of shyt. It's been pretty well documented that Hillary and Putin are political enemies. Putin's motivation for interfering in the 2016 elections was his hatred for Hillary Clinton, not a love of Trump. Putin would have likely interfered against Hillary regardless of who the GOP candidate, because he wanted payback for what he saw as Hillary interfering in Russian elections as SOS. Now he's working with Hillary to prove that he colluded with Trump? How f'ing stupid does somebody have to be to believe that. If Putin wanted us to believe he colluded with Trump (weather he actually did or didn't), all he has to do is say so or have somebody leak it. It's astonishing to me the crap the willing mind will buy.

The ability of people to disconnect or disconnect others from reality because it's a "good narrative" is beyond me. I thought Bill Clinton was the pinnacle of lying in politics, then Cheney & Rumsfeld one upped Clinton with WMD lies. Now we have social media platforms dedicated to spreading disinformation and conspiracy theories, congress critters playing propaganda puppet on their social media accounts, and 24/7 "news" outlets that are at best telling 1/2 the truth and that's only when they're not distorting the truth or outright lying.
