It's a fact that people make mistakes. You think a mistake is a lie.

Claiming you have no income on multiple applications, then confirming it in interviews, and writing it on monthly reports is hardly a mistake.
Answering "no" to the question "Are you married?" on six applications, while also writing "Never Married" next to the question while you are married and living with the guy the whole time, is hardly a mistake.
Forging an employment verification by getting a blank and returning it completed in 13 minutes when the job site is 18 minutes away, is hardly a mistake.
Declaring you have zero assets when you have ten bank accounts, a home in the country, an operating bar, and a second home in town is hardly a "mistake".
When someone robs a bank, do you consider it just a "mistake"?

Do you find other crime acceptable, or just financial crime?

Lots of people view crime thru their individual lense. Ie crime in San Fran that chases out retailers, that's "bad" crime and should be prosecuted and people should be jailed, etc, but there are people that would say that crime is acceptable and an appropriate response to systemic racism, defund the police, etc. Or the Jan 6th riots - to some the people that entered the Capitol building and vandalized the place are criminals worthy of jail sentences; to others, they are heros, just some patriots peacefully protesting, etc.

Theft from the gov't is theft from everybody and (IMHO) is worthy of prosecution. I just hope the gov't goes as hard after the people that stole covid funds by the bucket load as they do welfare fraud, but I suspect they won't.

A little different than ballots with mismatched signatures. But I have some questions:

Is 17k a real #?
Were they actually accepted? If they were, is there an explanation for why?
What was the net difference in votes?

Newsflash.... That said, I do support SG Murthy's push for better mental healthcare. Mental health has slowly been defunded at the elementary age level for the past ~3 decades. Might have something to with the increase in mass shootings.
