If Republicans do not generally support Trump unless they are far hard-right, that suggests a whole LOT of the party is hard far right, since he took the presidency.
Which rolls us right back to the thought that a Republican is generally a Trump supporter, and vice-versa.

The alternative would be to say that Republicans simply vote the party line and went for Trump b/c that was all they were allowed to vote for.
So even after he clarified his meaning to you...you know better than him on what he meant 🤣🤣🤣

I repeated what he said. He thinks Trump supporters are hard far right Republicans. "A trump support is definitely someone who is hard right, far right, or however you would like to call it."
Trump was supported by and won the election by Republican voters. That means they supported him. That means they are hard far right, yes?

In 2016, Trump got almost 63 million votes.
In 2019 he got about 11 million MORE.
That shows increases support (again, unless we want to accuse Republicans of simply toeing the party line).

Voting for Trump=Trump supporter
Trump supporter=Hard far right Republican
Voting for Trump=Hard far right Republican
That's a LOT of hard far right Republicans out there.

So how does that make it very likely that most of the jury was Dems?
I'm genuinely trying to follow your logic.

You and Thxone accuse of me of following my feelings when I accept jury decisions on cases, but you both are coming up with all of these reasons the decision was wrong, and none of those reasons are backed by anything OTHER than feelings.

Thxone is sure that the jury was all liberal dems and that every word she said is a lie (though he never saw a word of the trial), and that the jury was never instructed to pass judgement based on preponderance of evidence.
You are sure that the jury was all Dem, even though only 46% of the registered NY voters are Dem.

Seems to be nothing more than feelings on your parts, yet I am the one who is able to talk about how the jury system actually works and that I accept the jury system that has been around almost 400 years.
It's just odds, probably 5-7 dems, 2-3 conservatives, maybe 1 indy/other...

Trump supporters aren't some radical wing of the GOP, they are the GOP. So much so that "Stolen Election" was the entire party platform for 2022.

The hearing is public record. I'm sure it won't take too long for someone to get the entire transcript and share it online.
The difference between a Republican and the hard right is you won’t find republicans attending protest or being blinded by things that are obvious. It’s the same thing with the left but the media makes it look like no moderate democrats are left just like they do with republicans. Republicans vote for trump cause they like the policy just like the democrats vote for biden.

So Republicans are not Trump supporters, and Trump supporters are not Republicans.
This is bordering on a philosophical discussion.

I’ll make this easier. My choice of trump supporters must have been in poor taste and I apologize for using such an idiotic and unclear term. I will refer to it as far right which isn’t your average Republican. There is literally 0 or close to 0 far right wingers in Manhattan.

All democrats are lock step behind their presidential nominee?
I would say if they vote for the Dem nominee, they are supporting the nominee.
If they vote for the Republican nominee, they are supporting the Republican nominee.
If they don’t vote, they are not supporting anyone.

If you vote for someone, you are certainly not OPPOSING them.

So nobody ever holds their nose voting against someone instead of voting for someone...
