Say what you will about Trump, but he definitely has foresight. He began plan the "big lie" as soon as the pandemic hit. He was obviously working on a plan B as soon as he got in office. If we re-elect this guy, no way he leaves the WH in 4 years.

It’s a civil case because they have no evidence to bring a criminal case. Remember the lady who sued McDonald’s for hot coffee being spilled in her lap by herself? Seems a lot like a money thing. No evidence, but someone wants paid.

It was a civil case because the statute of limitations had been exceeded on the alleged ****. Unfortunately for Trump he opened himself to a lawsuit by defaming EJC and thus causing her damages and then he couldn't keep his trap shut and dug his own grave. It was a money thing, Trump caused EJC damages and she sought to recoup those damages.

The evidence in any they said/they said case is most often in the testimony of the parties involved.
She told her side of the story. He COULD have told his side.
Once that is done, the jury gets to decide the plausibility of both sets of testimony and pass judgement.

First-hand or eyewitness testimony is just that: testimony. Evidence not necessary.

Problem with Trump telling his side of the story is he would have buried himself.

I used to think that republicans were the problem. Now I think it’s idiot liberals who have no core of belief that is the problem. We believe in the right things, but will get fooled into following idiots and tyrants who are using our goodness against us. It’s the religious tactic being used against us in real time and we don’t even see it, I’m so disappointed in the lack of deep thought in the modern liberal brain.

Goes both ways. Liberals (BLM) seems completely unaware that white people get choked, shot, arrested, etc. Neoconservatives are touting conspiracy theories. Nothing is more devoid of facts/thought than "transwomen are women" and "Stolen Election."

WTF??? I cook "scalding hot" food all the time, yet have managed to get through life without burning myself (with the food at least) or my children. Sometimes food comes straight out of the fryer people....
