You seemed to be implying the ability to track our purchases was a bad thing, which is why I pointed out thst ability already exists. I'm more concerned that they adopt blockchain technology since that seems to an inefficient way to make/move currency.

Gov't creep has been happening since they signed the Constitution.

The ability to track our purchases is a bad thing...but short of using cash...it's already a thing...

Just because something has essentially always happened (ie govt creep) doesn't mean it should be something we just blindly accept or approve of...

or call the fire dept. when they set their house on fire trying to grill a steak,
or take medicine that is certified safe,
or eat at a restaurant that has been inspected and shown not to be serving eColi soup,
or swim in a lake that isn't loaded with toxic chemicals being dumped by a business upstream.,
or asks the Federal Gov't to provide emergency funds for their failing energy delivery infrastructure...
