So when you "Post Facts" how does that open things up for a conversation? I like how you use that term "conspiracy theorist" when you speak about others. Like when you said Jan 6th was a coup. To YOU, that is a fact. To others it is not a fact, it's a theory. I could say it is a fact that the actions of Nancy Pelosi and others ALLOWED those people to enter that building and they used the events to smear Trump.

This is exactly why facts are an important part of conversation. The facts in this case do support there was a coup attempt (Oath Keepers/seditious conspiracy). OTOH, we can say not everybody was there with the same intent as the Oath Keepers (ie all the people with lesser charges than the Oath Keepers & people stayed out of the Capitol). Those are the facts, so anybody who says there was a coup attempt isn't engaging in a conspiracy, nor is anybody who says there was no coup attempt and the truth lies in between.

For comparison's sake, that claim that election was stolen is a conspiracy theory. What makes it a conspiracy theory isn't that some people disagree with that narrative, but the utter lack of facts to support the narrative. So that's why facts are important and why certain things can and should be labeled as conspiracy theories and why other narratives don't qualify as conspiracy theories.

Other than young children, I have never encountered anyone who will so steadfastly hang onto a false belief the way you do. You're tenacious. I'll give you that. But tenacity is not a good thing under those circumstances.

It's been my experience that adults are more likely to hang onto "false beliefs." Maybe children are just more willing to learn and grow. Children generally don't believe in conspiracy theories.

Exactly, that's one of the cornerstones of the conspiracy theory - the cover up. The lack of evidence just proves "they" covered it up. Any facts "we" have that disprove the conspiracy are just the facts that "they" feed us.

Trump is one of the Lizard People and Chelsea Clinton is actually his and Hillary's offspring. The Lizard People are shape shifters and have been walking among us for centuries. The Lizard People have been covering up their existence since they first arrived on earth.

Personally, I prefer a higher standard of proof than the lack of proof is the proof. I prefer a higher standard of proof than a standard that allows one make up anything they want and claim its a fact (ie Trump is a shape shifting Lizard Person). If you're standard is it's all a cover-up, etc, then you believe in conspiracy theories and that's why people call your narratives conspiracy theories. Minus facts these narratives are actually works of fiction.

In the case of "The Great Steal," we're talking a cover up of millions of people - seems highly unlikely the Lizard People could cover that up, but then again they have been walking among us for centuries, so if anybody is capable of pulling off the big steal, it's them.

The fact that democrats make and made it a point to say there was no election fraud, this was the most secure election in history tells me they are hiding shit. If you have nothing to hide, you keep your mouth shut. That's just the way I see it.
