That is not all what you said. You clearly, time and time again, tried to lay the blame for higher gas prices at Biden's door step. When you got called out you've tried to justify with inaccurate information about permits, some sort of story about how leases and permits aren't the same. When it was pointed out this is a global issue involving OPEC & Russian supplies, you called that a distraction tactic.

Additionally, gas has dropped ~35% from it's high in June. I don't recall anybody here saying "thank you Biden" except in jest. IMHO, the credit for the drop in prices goes to the black market Russian oil that has skirted around the embargo.

You're the one that claimed prices were lower under Trump because his administration was more willing to hand out permits. Ironically when it was pointed out that Biden is actually outpacing Trump with permits, you had a sudden reversal in position and claimed increased permits doesn't equal increased drilling. Funny how that worked.

Part of you supporting argument was that: 1) we are not part of OPEC 2) we don't buy oil from international sources 3) We should only use oil produced in the US 4) Permits are granted when no land lease exists 5) The Feds control land and won't allow oil extraction even when a permit exists 6) Oil extraction is nationalized and not private industry.
The only one you got right is #1. And it has no relevance.
