So since Trump and Obama did so much better at managing gas prices than Sleepy Joe, what policies of Trump and Obama should Biden adopt? What was it that Trump and Obama were doing that kept either US or world wide gas prices lower (depending on if you believe the US has a isolated oil industry or accept oil/gas prices are global)? What did Trump do in his first 2 years in office to drive gas prices up? Is it possible that Biden has gone too far continuing Trump policies?

For comparison's sake gas was at $2.33/gal Sept/2016 (Obama) vs $2.68/gal Sept/2019 (Trump). That's a 15% increase at the pump, way over the rate of inflation during Trump's first 2 years. Was Trump not signing enough permits? What did Trump do more or less of or differently than Obama to drive up gas prices?

Biden's Sept/2022 gas price is $3.81/gal. So is this just a matter of Biden continuing pre-pandemic Trump policies and trends? Is there perhaps some Trump policies in place that Biden should reverse? What is it that Biden is doing more or less of than Trump that is driving up prices?

Curious minds want to know...

I assume you don't know about a subject when it's readily apparent in your post. For example, it's very clear you didn't understand the leasing/permitting process. You appear to think the US oil market is somehow isolated from the global market/supply. For as long as I've been alive the US (the world) time and time again goes to OPEC trying to get their cooperation on supply/price, yet you think bringing up OPEC is some sort of "muddy the waters" tactic. OPEC is probably the single largest factor in oil pricing.

When have I ever said the gov't can do no wrong? When have I ever said, implied or suggested that the gov't always operates in our best interests? Can you cite a single example?
Like Rob, you are assuming. Instead of answering my question you two just assume you need to "educate" everyone. That is very rude on your parts. There are answers for my questions but the left won't answer them. That's fine. But answering with the assumption that you need to explain something is not the answer. Not only that, you keep on explaining stuff... Just answer the question. Or don't. But stop filling in the gap with fluff.

‘For those who do make the leap, they’ll be signing up for a world of no roads, no cars — only flying taxis — plus a high-speed rail with an end-to-end transit time of just 20 minutes. Then there are the robotic avatars and holograms set to become part of everyday life.’

‘AI is set to be “the beating heart” of Neom, as outlined at the Global AI Summit recently in Riyadh.’

This is scary tech to me:

'All the videos of digital simulations were created with so-called deepfake technology, which uses computer-generated renditions to make the Hollywood and business notables say and do things they never actually said or did.'

I have answered your questions. Just because you don't like the answer, doesn't mean it wasn't answered. OTOH, I notice you don't answer mine. Again another indicator that you lack knowledge on the subject, which is fine, but if you have a limited understanding of something maybe expressing an opinion on the matter and then sticking to it come hell or high water looks "off."

Maybe just take a few minutes and think about it, before you post it: could Biden really be responsible for higher oil prices if this is happening on a global scale? It's like me blaming Abbott and DeSantis for a nationwide spike in Covid cases. And I could do it, I could definitely find a way to assign blame to DeSantis, but in the end my mental gymnastics and twisted logic would only serve to make me look like a fool.

As many a "smart man" has said "bad questions lead to bad answers." So rather than asking yourself "how can I blame higher gas prices on Biden?" and then twisting in the wind trying to do so, I suggest a different question. How about asking yourself "Is Biden to blame for higher oil prices and why?"

Just the next logical step in misinformation campaign that's been going full swing since at least 2000. On a certain level it makes you question our value as a species, our value to one another and our value to the planet.

Critical thinking or common sense... which ever you choose to use is fine at this point. I will again ignore the fluff and speak on the Biden controlling oil prices.

What I am calling out is the hypocrisy of Biden supporters. Not comparing to any other people, just calling out the hypocrisy.

If Biden supporters want to stick to the notion that high oil and gas prices ARE NOT the fault of Biden then they need to stfu if and when gas prices come down and not give credit to Biden. If he is NOT responsible for high prices then he is not responsible when they drop. Agreed? That is all I am saying and is the point I was making. I didn't ask for an internet lesson on economics.

You confuse hypocrisy with balance. Biden supporters are forcing Trump supporters to pick their poison and stick to their script.

If Trumpers want to credit Trump for a great stock market, then they must also credit Biden for an even greater stock market.
If they want to blame Biden for gas prices increasing during his term, then they must also blame Trump for gas prices increasing during his term.
if they want to accuse Biden of a "failed" Afghanistan drawdown, then they must also accuse Trump of creating a poor plan for the drawdown.
If they want to blame Biden for high inflation, they must blame Trump for the recession that resulted in high inflation
If they want to blame Biden for illegal border crossings, they must blame Trump for there being fewer arrests of illegals while he was in office.

So, what's it going to be? Equal evaluation and consideration, or do you want to stick with the "Everything Trump did was great and everything Biden does svcks" mantra?
That's not a rhetorical question.
Go ahead and answer.

See, you just can't help yourself. So predictable. I specifically said "Not comparing to any other person" Here you come with your Trump, Trump, Trump.
