Also if tuned properly I shouldn't need to worry about blowing the speakers huh. Ig I am leaning towards the 5k then.

If you tune properly .. you should NOT have any issues as long as you meet the Sub Ohm load configuration and the amplifiers ohm stability with the power supply for the demand.

Grab a 5 k cheaper than the SD amp

The Sundown is actually stronger at two ohms and is built with Korean parts and doesn't require two runs of 1/0. $2 cheaper . Now add the $100 for the extra run of 1/0 power and ground. To each his own.

Hmm, thank you for all this great information. Now I wonder if I go with a sundown or the taramps 5k . Good to know the 3k is out of the question though. This helps!
