They said straight up they were classified. I've held top secret clearance (it's not really that hard) and it's not like you can mistake what is or isn't classified - the system they have in place is pretty clear.

Some were already recovered. This raid seems to have revealed there were more. If so, it’s obstruction for not returning them when the first batch was retrieved.

Agreed, Trump has already been caught with classified docs once. I guess you could say he's only been "allegedly" caught with more classified docs, but given his track record I don't think he should be afforded such latitude.

IMHO, this is like Iraq's "active WMD program" that neo-cons still thought existed even after Bush himself said they didn't find any WMD in Iraq (which isn't quiet true). Funny thing is, IIRC shortly after Bush made the admission that we hadn't found and WMD or active labs, etc, they polled the public and IIRC ~25% still believed we had found WMD in Iraq. Today that number sits at 40%. Somehow with time people have actually somehow come to believe a lie even though nobody has actually pushed that narrative for over a decade.
