I wish I had a lazy boy, lol. Wanna buy me one so I can post here while sitting in it?

I was called one of the best car audio sub woofer box designers in the world, in 2013, by a dude with double PHD’s in audio engineering. Go f*ck yourself; my merit is earned.
Buy your own LaZBoy with your earnings as “worlds best” designer.

What was the list of requirements that this double-PhD used to make the official determination of you as the best designer? And why haven’t any major spkr mfgrs scooped you up with a nice fat salary so they can claim they have and sell the “world’s best” subwoofer? Talk about being able to print money…
Here. This trophy confirms you are the best. It was on the internet, it must be true.

Except that there is more to the equation than just an “unborn child”. There is the host/mother who carries that child and is it’s life support system for 36 weeks until it can survive on its own.

What the anti-abortinists think is that the host/mother should no longer have a say in what happens to her own body, simply because there is a ***** growing in it.

Flip the script: What if you were told that because you impregnated a woman, you no longer had a right to choose what happened to your own body? Want a tat? Nope. Want that elective surgery that is risky? Nope.
Want to go have *** with another woman? Not allowed. Your body is not yours.

An extreme example, but it speaks to the reality of Roe v Wade. I wonder how many male anti-abortionists woul be willing and happy to rescind control of their body to legislation like we may see.
Legislation that is not even the decision of the MAJORITY of our country.
In a nut shell anti-abortionist are saying, don't kill an unborn child. She can get tatted, she can leave the baby at a firehouse. We're saying killing an unborn baby because it inconveniences you is not a justifiable reason.
I'd give up my tats and being a whore. If I can eat junk until I'm diabetic and drink until my body shuts down, or be forced to take experimental drugs then the goverment isn't too serous about saving lives.

In this whole argument, why hasn't the left stepped up w/ long term alternatives? The answer is easy, PP makes millions on the sale of fetal tissue and big pharma uses it for their research.

PP does not openly offer tubilgation nor do the offer vasectomies. That would solve this 99% of this debate w/o issue. Both reversible and as tax payer, I'd open to it as a sentencing option for drug and violent offenders since they historically have the highest levels of recidivism and they tend to have lots of children on the states dime. Worse is, those kids will never have a fighting chance to know more than what their parents did.

I am just gonna throw this out there... Rob, is it true you make no distinction between the phrase "one of the best" and "the best"? Do these two phrases mean the exact same thing to you or just when you want to belittle someone? Either way, you look like an *** so let me help your superior intellect.

1. "One of the best" - being among other highly rated people.
2. "The best" - No one being better. The top of the flag pole. Everyone else is below this skill level.

What was it that you read? Are you speed reading and missing words?

Read this sentence:

The quick brown fox jumped over the fence.

Is this what you read...

The fox, the fence.

Both "the best" and "one of the best" require more than just a verbal claim. What were the criteria used to determine that he is "one of" or "the" best? What was he compared to? Who determined the criteria to be used in the proclamation?
Did he do empirical testing on Buck's designs? Did he compare it to others? Or was he just being kind b/c he wanted to stop Buck from talking about Nazis and Bill Gates taking over the world with the illuminati?

Ever see the "world's best cup of coffee" sign (parodied in the Will Ferrel movie "Elf")?
I don't care if the guy who made the claim had 16 PhDs and lived inside a subwoofer box. Without some basis to make the claim, it means nothing to me or anyone else, except Buck.

Good point. So, you would be OK with the government stepping in and making it illegal for you to eat junk food or drink until your body shuts down?
How about if you get a rare disease and the government decides you cannot have treatment because they can study you as it ravages your body?
Both honest questions and and answer would be appreciated.

What are the "long-term alternatives" to an abortion? The only ones I can fathom are the welfare system, which the left seems to promote pretty heavily, but the right hates. But the right also hates the idea of abortion, yet is not making any grand gestures for the care of that saved ***** once it becomes a baby. Can't have your cake and eat it too.

Man you whiffed right through that without even attempting to answer the question. The answer is no, they are not the same phrase and don't reference the same skill level. They speak on two different things and should not be used interchangeably.

I have never seen the movie Elf with Will Ferrel. I find Bucks post interesting for the most part though some of the animated pictures mess with my eyes.

What is wrong with Bucks Box Designs? I think some of his designs are "outside of the box" so to speak. Do you think you are at or above his skill level in enclosure design? Can you design an subwoofer enclosure as well as he can? Can you design a better enclosure than he can?

I know you and i battle it out a lot here, but this is an honest answer to your post.

The person who is "the best" is also "one of the best" by nature. Being "one of the best" does not necessarily mean "the best". Nuances of the spoken word.

We know nothing of Mr PhD and what his method of evaluation is. That greatly devalues the phrase that he may have said to Buck. It could have been hollow praise. It could have been a brush-off. It could be that Buck is the only car sub box designer he has interacted with. When I am told on a public forum that the information I share is bullshit simply because it can be found and shared with a Google search instead of scanning pages from law books or encyclopedias or court transcripts, then I am CERTAINLY not going to take Buck's hearsay as evidence that he is "one of the best" sub box designers in the world.

His designs are based on known acoustic theory and can be replicated by anyone with simple design software, or through manual calculations if they know the formulas to use. I can do both. I was "designing" and building subs and home speaker enclosures before a computer was available to the average home, and WELL before software for design existed to the average consumer. My first box I made was a simple 4th order bandpass with two CV 8" woofers. It hit 130dB with a Rockford Punch amp, measured on a calibrated meter. Not a big deal now, but that was pretty solid back then.
I was the first installer in my region to do a true isobaric setup using 4 12" subs in a one-piece dual enclosure (basically, two fully independent enclosures encased to make one large one).

His uses right angles in his ports, which is known to degrade performance (it's the physics of airflow, which are immutable).
He does not base his designs on the actual operating parameters of the woofer in question. It's a fact that every speaker made will vary from the average parameters that are measured on the production prototype. Unless the mfgr. is providing piece-specific parameters for the woofer in question, he is creating a suboptimal design.
After the box is built, he is not doing measurements on it to ensure the design worked.

All of these complaints may be splitting hairs when we're talking about a box that simply needs to hit a certain dB at a certain frequency with unlimited power to drive it, but splitting hairs is what we're talking about when we use the word "best" or the phrase "one of the best".

And example of splitting hairs is a watchmaker doing a guilloche on the INTERIOR of a caseback. No one will ever see it except for the watchmaker and a servicing watchmaker, but it's the finest of details that make someone "one of the best". Splitting hairs.

Already happening.
The government already does that having banned many of my supplements w/o cause. I can't get M1T because it might be too strong and the pharmaceutical industry doesn't know long term affects BUT I can fkin smoke palm malls all day long.

Already happening.
There's known meds that slow or halt cancer but they aren't approved for "off label" use in the US but you can get the drugs in Europe or Mexico for treatment.
My last dr refused to prescribe drug X for me for off label use because and they wanted me drugged up on something entirely different and brand new but it had all sorts of side affects..

There are private organizations that focus on adoptions, my family is dealing with 2 right now. The state on the other hand wants to "reunite"
8 year old child repeatedly ***** by woman's boyfriend. She knew but did nothing because she didn't want trouble. Case work admitted it but said the policy is always reunification. WTF....

Its not perfect by any means but killing another living defenseless unborn human, thats not "a choice."
And the problem with the welfare system is it incentivizes it, women are paid more for each child, and at NO time does the system/state promote individual reliance.
When there's multiple generations that never worked or kids who grew up on welfare that are on welfare as adults simply proves it creates a nanny state. People become lazily dependent.

I don't have a problem with daycare assistance for working/school parents. My wife almost lost her childcare because the system wanted her to attend beauty school because "a degree was unattainable" for someone like her. When we met she was successful and the only help she had was that after school program. And the day she got her degree the system cut off her. Way to go MN...

So they banned it from being produced legally by a pharma? That is not the same as telling you what you can and cannot do with your body.

Again, preventing a corporation from doing something is not telling you what you can or cannot do with your own body.

Of the 400,000 kids in foster care in the US, 117,000 await being adopted. About 38% of adoptable children never get adopted. Using adoption as a reason to stop abortion is a pretty poor plan. And, adoption and foster care do not speak the kids who remain in a home that is an absolute shithole terror fest.

Its not perfect by any means but killing another living defenseless unborn human, thats not "a choice."

Again, your logic speaks to using time travel to make the conception never happen. Abortion speaks to the reality that the cells are in there, already dividing. If we want to talk time travel, let's talk about education and birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancy. (And let's not be childlike and say "women should just close their legs".) But the conservative right is against education and birth control. "It will encourage kids to have ***". Yeah, that's why humans have procreated for 2 million years: education and birth control option. 'Might explain why "conservative" states have higher instances of teen pregnancies than "liberal" states.

"The system wanted her to attend beauty school". What system was that?
And, she did not get cut off b/c she got a degree. Welfare doesn't work that way. If she got cut off, it was due to a factor like new income, failure to follow program rules, etc. No program says "you got a degree? you're cut off". It's a good story to share (like the people using their WIC card for McDonald's, or the ones who show their "welfare checks" to others), but it's just not how things work. Especially the CCAP program in MN (if that's what you inferred when you said "Way to go MN")

I actually enjoyed reading these opinions. Your response was easily the most conversational that you have posted in my opinion. I have no retort.

Moderna was "built in the cloud"? So, they used computers? Wow. I guess every company that used computers at startup was "built in the cloud".

It's bad enough you post so much useless shite, but cpould you at least stop with the space-hogging pictures and animated gifs? They honestly look fvcking ridiculous and 9/10x result in scrolling past your entire post because of it.
Especially all of this tinfoil hat AI bullshit and the Matrix pictures you attach to it. Childlike.
