Do you use Tor strictly for VPN purposes? I’ve only read some very superficial stuff about it and not fully “getting” it. Maybe if I delved deeper, but I’m lazy.Had to use tor to see this.. banned in canaduh apparently.![]()
Of a population of like 14,000 people in the whole county.... at least you posted some context. So how many kids is that actually even attending the 3rd grade in that county? I bet it's a few hundred at best. See, those percentages mean shit without context.
I don't know why we are letting the government push this green crap and EV's. EV's that would be able to go as far as a fuel efficient gas powered car are going to put out more emissions than the gas powered car in the end. Then you have the problem of this huge battery pack. Where and what to do with it when it is used up or damaged? How about the ignorance of people not knowing it still takes power to charge these batteries and that power has to come from somewhere... from something.
We have fuel efficient cars now. We have the technology to make them even more fuel efficient and put out even less emissions. Plus we have hybrids which are better than all out EV's. Why won't people do the research on EV's instead of just listening to this administration??? Is it a pride thing?
Yes, the cops did know there was one shooter. You must not be familiar with room clearing and the associated training. It is designed to enter a room blindly. Again, I don't know exactly what people learn at police academy, but I assume (hope) they would at least touch on room clearing, which is good enough when it comes to kids. "Protect and serve" means "protect and serve the community", not "protect and serve yourself". If a cop with years of training on a 9mm can't outgun a loser who bought his first gun a week ago, then that cop is a threat to civilians and isn't qualified to carry a gun.Right, one idiot... but did the cops know that? If they did and were just being cowards then sure, that is an issue. Still, their job is to protect and serve, not commit *******. That is a judgment call made by each officer... be a hero or go in blind and risk other deaths.
Did they know the shooters background? Did they know if he is some loser or a Navy SEAL? Everyone is speaking from the assumption that they, the cops, knew ahead of time who the shooter was and what skill level with a rifle he was. It's the difference between speaking emotionally and speaking rationally. Furthermore, I would rather have law enforcement react to the situation rationally as apposed to acting emotionally and or irrationally to the situation.Yes, the cops did know there was one shooter. Protect and Serve.... that is Protect and Serve everyone. Their job was to also try and save the shooter.
Not everyone is built to be a cop, not everyone is built to be a hero either. HOWEVER..... This is from a Texas Active Shooter Course (SBLE 2195) found at this link if you want to read all of it. Yes, they cops should have went in, it's their training. They got ordered to stand down by the mayor iirc.
I think the cops should’ve gone in. That’s what we pay them for, and it’s cowardly to let a maniac stay in a school who’s killing kids, they should’ve rushed the dude. One border patrol agent took the guy out…the cops seem to act like they don’t care if kids die.
Their job is to eliminate the threat and then immediately try to preserve life, even if it’s the shooter’s.Did they know the shooters background? Did they know if he is some loser or a Navy SEAL?
