On the topic of gas prices. Closing the pipeline...would that have affected gas prices? I wonder how it would have affected Warren's importation of oil by train. Cost more by train than by pipeline. Hmmmm......why did we shut the pipe line down again....hmmmmm.

It’s Canadian heavy crude which causes some problems, but it can be sold overseas to countries like Russia and China. We can profit and destroy their refineries with at at the same time. Kinda kidding, but it’s going somewhere. It’s worth something to someone apparently.

That money was only going to Canada though not staying here. IF that stuff was so great then Canada would be keeping it for their own consumption and it was all going to China as they are the only place that can refine that sludge besides 2 refineries here in the US that don't want it. Also there is pipelines in place already that work just fine.
