The tall wall would have changed nothing. Aside from the legal hurdles of building it, it was impractical and would have been wall PLUS fence.
Hell, a hole was knocked in EXISTING wall that they couldn’t repair for MONTHS. In one year, border patrol reported repairing 4,000 holes alone.
You think they would be able to build AND maintain more (almost doubling current length)? You drank the KoolAid, kid.
