Really? What is the alternative fuel that is readily available to the masses? The majority, by far, for engines in domestic vehicles are gasoline powered. If we are to prosper by traveling to work then we must buy gas to power our vehicles. Since the government does not support us we are forced to pay what gas cost or go without.

I didn't prove ANY point for you. Purchasing something I want with money I have earned isn't "pissing it away". I am also not buying things for myself INSTEAD of buying gas. I have a coworker who rides a bike to/from work every single day. It's only 6 miles each way, but he does it rain or shine. I pass a woman who walks to-from work every day, rain/shine/blizzard at the places I have seen her, has to be 6-8 miles each way. They're nuts in my opinion, but they are not using gas by choice. Saving at least a few grand a year. I'll spend the money for the comfort and convenience, and I won't ***** about my own choices.
