I'm planning on upgrading my stock 2022 F250 speakers and I want to put 6.5 components in the front and rear on some custom panels. Can you suggest some quality components for around $200?

Forget the rears. Invest in better comps.

Are you planning on using the stock amplifier for power? If so, you won’t see results you want and you may want to get some infinity coaxials as in my experience they integrate good with OE.

Yep.. JBL, Infinity or Polk on stock amps.

Ditch the rears and spend that savings on deadening/install on the front doors. That will make the most difference.

Ditch the rears, you will never notice them missing. Do a little sound deadening and assuming those Ford trucks still use 6x8 holes the JBL Stadium 6x8 components go very nicely in Ford pickup doors.

i have heard very good things about the JBL club series on crutchfield. They range from about 199 to 250 so should be in budget

We used the Stadium series in my brother's F250, when he drove that into the ground I put them in mine. Not sure about the club line but Stadium 6x8s are good performers.

That's a good buy on those. I've used the 5x8" stadiums and they were a nice set (IIRC also bought them for 200 and a little bit on sale). I'd probably pass at the 300+$ MSRP but at the 200$ price point they're a strong value.

Not to hijack your thread OP, but looking for 6.5 components as well to replace the stock 4" HK's in my BMW. They have absolutely no mid bass.

Would these be decent? Seems like a damn good deal.
