Wow... sorry pal, but you are wrong. Before you continue, go speak to an English Professor please.
Ahhhh, you have stated it again. Repeat a lie often enough, and it becomes the truth, huh?

Except you are yet again unable to verify your claim. How strange.
Maybe it’s just that facetious metaphor you’re so good at?

Did you speak with an English Professor yet? I am guessing no or you wouldn't have responded again on the subject. I have done the "due diligence" clearly you have not. I will wait and I will not entertain this subject with you again about irony until you get educated and apologize.

Share your due diligence. Show us the facts. Show us the definition that is the “correct” one.
Its not my respond to prove YOUR claims, any more than it was Mexico’s responsibility to pay for Trumps wall.

Welcome to reality.

Did you study this effect so that you knew the technical term for the BS you give people or was it brought to your attention by being called out on another forum... thought you would use the phrase here as your own? It's ok... again, we understand it is hard for some people.
Hmmmm, if I mention E=MC2, would you think I am “Using the phrase as my own”?

The effect has a NAME, you fvcking moron. No one who references it is claiming it “as their own”.
But if ever someone exhibited signs of it, it’s you.
Shlt, you actually think you know definitions better than the Oxford English Dictionary! I can imagine all your failures in life where you were (and still are) convinced everyone was wrong but you.
Plenty of examples on this site alone.

Both your math and English skills are far below where a 47 y.o. should be. Your logical reasoning is poor, and comprehension is lacking.
Yet you insist you are very smart. Nope.

Yeah, did that, you argued proving yet again that as long as the response is in opposition to your view you will say it isn't factual. So stfu, go speak to an English professor.

Whatever you gotta tell yourself. Once again... the point flies way over your head. I keep forgetting that NOBODY can have a conversation with you without saying "This is literal" or "This is comical" or whatever. Tell us about the car stereo you are working on.

No, you’ve shared nothing. You simply insisted you are correct. That’s not due diligence.
Share the definition of ironic that contradicts what I posted. Cite your sources.
Can’t do it? Won’t do it? Then your claim is bullshlt. Plain and simple.

Humor the folks who didn’t see your post and can’t find find it anywhere in the thread (which is everyone): Share the post number or quote the entire post here.

I’m working on sound deadening to eliminate rattles that drive me crazy.
I don’t use Dynamat; I use peel and seal.

I’m also working on a DIY case for a pair of 1,000 watt IcePower Class D amps. Going for a retro look with analog front panel VU meters. But that’s a home audio project.

So, were you being literal or comical when you referred to gas having “no problem staying under $2” during Trump?

If you say so. As I said, go speak to an English Professor. I am not entertaining this topic until you do. Why do you fear knowledge?

I have used Peel and Seal before. It wasn't the best in the heat on vertical surfaces.

Home audio is always fun. Sounds like a heck of a project.

Literal. I paid well under the national average, under $2 per gallon for 87 octane for some time. It didn't seem to have a problem being under $2 a gallon under Trump. I never said the entire Trump presidency. But it was under $2 a gallon for a good long while and other Americans can attest to this fact.

I have also used eternabond and ice damn shield as leftovers from projects.
Home audio is what got me started in the audio hobby. Lust for a Marantz receiver and Thorens t/t owned by a "cool" relative. He was grown up and I wanted to be like him. The appreciation for the actual equipment and music came later.
When 5.1 came out, I built my "home theater" setup around a a $3K receiver, $6K speaker system, LCD projector, etc. All-in, my equipment was valued at close to $50K. Depreciation is a bltch.

Gas prices under Trump dipped below the $2 mark for two occasions. One was in 2018 when Russia and other OPEC suppliers produced more than they had pledged and there was excess supply. It lasted a few weeks.
The other was the pandemic driving prices down as use(demand) dropped precipitously and supply spiked because business were closing, millions were losing their income, hundreds of thousands were dying, and our economy was taking a major dump. The dip last about six months.
The chart below shows Lexington and Kentucky gas prices for the timeframe in question. You can see where prices jumped almost immediately after Trump took office, and stayed up for his entire first year.
After the Russia/OPEC dip, they jumped right back up and ping-ponged ceiling to floor until the pandemic crushed them.

A common interpretation of "having no problem" in doing something is long-term continuation or the ability to repeat with regularity. Steve "has no problem" showing up to work every day because he actually does it. Ty Cobb had "no problem" batting over .325, given his career average was .366. My house heat "has no problem" keeping the inside temp 80-90 warmer than the outside temp because it does it regularly.

Do you consider the situations when prices dipped during Trump as demonstrations of success for Trump and of him giving us good gas prices? If they "had no problem" being below $2, why was it only during two extraordinary situations in the history of his presidency? Wouldn't he have kept them below $2 for his entire presidency if it is a good thing and controlled by him?
I guess one could ask "Why was it a problem to KEEP gas under $2 during good times?"

I am again assuming you are speaking to national averages for gas. I lived in Saint Marys Ga when Trump was president and I paid under $2 a gallon much longer than a couple of weeks.

No, the chart was for several cities in Kentucky. This one is for several in Georgia (Macon, Augusta Atlanta). The one below it is for Savannah and Georgia (city).
Notice that they all follow the same price movements, even though very different cities.

Does St Marys have a fuly independent economy where their gas price do not follow the US averages and movements, or even various states of Georgia's price averages and movements?
I see right now that it's running darn close to the US average in St Mary's (AAA National Average $4.325 Price as of 3/13/22, $4.25 in St Marys)

Saint Marys is a Naval Base/Truck Stop town. Saint Marys/Kingsland Ga exits 1-6 on I95 heading north from Jacksonville Florida. I don't know what their prices are following now with the Biden/Ukraine situation. Savannah is still like 2 hours north and more populated than Saint Marys. Typically Saint Marys was lower than Yulee, Florida by as much as $.20+ a gallon and similarly less expensive than Jacksonville, Florida. Atalanta, Savannah, Macon, Augusta, and even the much closer Brunswick, Ga were always higher than Saint Marys as far as gas prices. Not sure if that helps your query. If I paid $1.79 in Saint Marys I could expect to pay $1.99 in Yulee which is why most of the time I bought gas in Ga before I went to work across the border in Florida.
