COVID had nothing to do with the dip right... Trump Trump Trump right. Idiot.

Now compare that graph to the National Debt. Idiot.
Who was POTUS when it happened? Trump. The man in charge takes the lumps. COVID was not his fault, but how he handled it WAS.
But if you want to say Trump is not responsible for what happened on his watch, then you can't blame Biden for what happens on HIS.
Once again, you want to play both sides of a coin to support your narrative. No can do, kid.

The ratio of National Debt to GDP is dropping from where it was under Trump. That is a good thing.
So you're trying to tell us you like what Biden is doing?

The national debt is rising... tell me how you spin that into being a good thing. Debt was on the rise from before Trump... funny thing about things that rise, they are higher for the next guy... so why isn't he lowering it instead of making the debt worse? Kid.

Debt vs GDP spiked from a major economic downturn during the Bush administration. It happens ever time we have an economic downturn. The nature of economics.
As a dollar figure it will always rise. The goal is to control it in relation to GDP.

Just like personal finances, where you have to maintain a ratio of what you earn to what you owe, the goal after a surge is to bring it back under control. Biden has been in office a year and the ratio already started dropping. That is an improvement. Are you upset that it is improving?

BTW - The ratio was dropping before Trump took office, then started to climb during his presidency. Not a good thing. He increased gov't spending by $100Million more in four years than Obama did in eight.
Maybe not a great idea to use him as your poster boy for doing right by the economy.

Are you really trying to compare government spending?
