Like MANY people in the US, I live in an area where gas prices meet the national average, or come damn close to it. I'm not in a major city of very high prices, or in an area of very low prices. Right now we are below the average. BUT in parts of Peoria, they are right AT the average. It happens. You know, that whole "some prices are higher, some are lower", deal? It is ENTIRLEY possible to be at the average for something.
The average number of M&Ms in a small package is 56. Some bags have more, some have less, but with precision production, I'll bet a quarter that more bags have exactly 56 than not. Maybe you can;t buy a bag based on the number of Ms inside, but they sure DO exist.
Why in the world would you think an average quantity is a number than cannot exist? Maybe it's that whole "99.4% of a million is 'impossible" ideology?

I am not sure what the overhead is for the store daily but I have done on the low side $7K in one day in sales and as high as $21K in one day. The normal sales for me is $12K - $14K per day. So my production is much higher than my cost of employment.

I am positive we have covered the gas topic before and I know we talked about prices. I also know you argued about that too. So tell me why I want to keep arguing about it with you? You want to dwell on the averages and I told you what I actually paid to which I was called a liar. As if you knew what I paid.

Actually as someone who was a service writer/service manager at a marina along with being the parts manager. This place was the 2nd smaller marina of Siesta Key Marina which was huge. If I didn't schedule people or get them fit into the schedule and done in time that we promised you could lose the customer. When I got there the departments were a mess at this marina within a month I turned that small marina into a money maker something it hadn't done in over 2 years because of how I ran the place with the General Manager. If that meant we had to help out cleaning boats or since I was a mechanic in my spare time I would help the two mechanics if need be.

Service writers do all that plus the paperwork after the job is done so yeah they make the company money.
