The economic collapse is because of the response to the virus, not the virus itself. It’s hard to argue with your logic on mandating things because it is purely logic, void of any human emotion. If this virus is mutating, which it likes it looks like it does, a vaccine would be like the flu vaccine. A yearly event. I just don’t see the practicality in doing a mandate constantly. Our government can’t police a lemonade stand without screwing it up. It would help if they had a shred of credibility with a lot of people, but they don’t. You trust them more than I do I guess

So our economy would have been fine if people just refused to get sick, refused to die, continue to go to work, continue gathering publicly, traveling locally, nationally and worldwide, shopping and spending at the mall, going to Broadway plays and movie theaters, and sharing the virus?

I can totally see the logic in that.
