I am a fan of Husky tools so I have been searching what they offer.
My oldest and best pair of locking pliers is a Kobalt. I don't see any digital Husky wrenches over 100 ft lbs. There is a nice looking Craftsman for $209 at Lowe's.
I figure I rarely torque stuff over 100ft.lbs. so it should last a while. There are air tools here but I like to put wheels back on and use a tq. wrench to the correct specs. I had an old fashioned one with the needle and dial but what a pain to read as you tq a lug nut.
Yeah I have one of those to for smaller stuff. They can be very temperamental and become inaccurate really quick if they are not taken care of. I never use air tools to tighten wheels. My torque wrenches are mainly used for building engines.
I did at Tire Kingdom. We used torque sticks but still followed up with torque wrenches which were double checked by a second employee with a torque wrench before signing off on the tires. Sometimes I miss being a tire and lube tech.
I looked at one of those. How do you like it?I have a digital torque adaptor from HF. Quinn makes it. It's dead on with my $100 click torque wrench.
