All social media is a slow motion mind control. Trying to get everyone think the same way by removing anything that doesn’t fit the narrative.
Everyone would be better off if they deleted it all.
This forum is as close as I come to any kind of social media. And I go days or weeks at a time without posting.

Amen. I got rid of it a few years ago and life is better. I realized that i can use the internet to find anything I'm in the mood for (duh!) rather than subscribing to it and waiting for it to show up on my stream.

My entire Facebook feed is basically car audio and science groups like Neil Degrasse Tyson. Basically a quick scroll through to see if anything is for sale or read a 5 minute article on black holes or something. I was spending time on there trolling political people in the comment sections for awhile, but that’s gotten boring.

My entire Facebook feed is basically car audio and science groups like Neil Degrasse Tyson. Basically a quick scroll through to see if anything is for sale or read a 5 minute article on black holes or something. I was spending time on there trolling political people in the comment sections for awhile, but that’s gotten boring.

I sometimes wish i was on facespace for the marketplace, but it's not worth it for the level of invasiveness you have to concede to. However, my girlfriend already signed away my privacy rights when she agreed to the terms because we are on the same home network.

I’ve had a little injury that had me laying around for a few weeks, and I spent too much time on Facebook and google, so I have now ended up with a bunch of audio stuff that I didn’t really need. GDit. I search for one little subwoofer on google, Facebook sees it and puts audio on my feed, and I end up with new front stage projects, home audio speaker builds, little Bluetooth amplifiers with speakers and passive radiators. My wife just side eyes me when she sees my shipping pile. Lol.

Oh, and I bought 2 audio legion subwoofers (great deal btw), and a Dayton audio 10. I almost bought 2 more of the Audio legion gladiator 15s last night.
