The military is the number 1 money hog, but education is also billions upon billions of dollars, especially when you add up what goes to public education. We fund schools at one of the highest rate per students in the world, with shit results.

Sadly true. Plenty of people will attribute it to one problem (behavior) and offer one solution (punishment), but it’s so much more complicated.

The teachers unions eat up a ton of money from the teachers also. The unions sure have a lot of money to throw around at inner city leaders every 2 years, but not enough to pay the teachers. The math doesn’t add up.

Chicago area being one of the worst. Some of the suburbs end up subsidizing the Chicago Schools and yet it doesn't help. Schools are vastly underfunded across the board. Some have a ton of extra cash and they put it to good use others are scrambling for money like crazy. Wisconsin is like that ever since they instituted that public tax dollars can be used for school choice garbage. Tax dollars should go to public schools. You want to send your cool to private school then that is on you. I know I know I will probably catch hell for that last sentence....oh well.

Education is big business, they get federal funding, state funding, county funding and probably city funding, In the suburbs they actually have boosters who inject money into the schools, probably as a tax credit for their businesses.

1st off, more than 99% is 100%. How can part of a person die from COVID-19 so that right there is not true.

In order to be a FF'er or EMT even on a Volunteer Dept you have to get the same vaccines that someone in the Military does when he joins. I had all of those because I was a FF'er at one point in my life. I didn't like having to take them but if I wanted to be one I had to agree to do it. But with what you are being exposed to in those lines of work you either do them or do not get to do the career you wanted to.

That was some of the stupidest shit that I've read in a while. "Anything more than 99% is 100%". I said to myself, "he has got to be joking". But he doubled down on what he said and stood by it. It's hard to believe that he is an actual functioning adult.
