Gonna have to disagree. I don't watch him or talk about him now. If he vanished today I wouldn't remember his name a year from now.

He's doing things that haven't been done since Babe Ruth. 43 bombs, 23 stolen bases, and pitches every 5 days and throws 100 m.p.h. He might end up with 50 homeruns, 25 stolen bases, and a great starting pitcher as well. You have that East coast bias shit. Imagine if Ohtani had Trout for protection this year. He might have hit 60 homeruns. Easily the AL MVP this year.

My second Varsity game in High School as a Freshman Maddux was the starting pitcher on the other team. It was the playoffs and we beat him 2-1 in his last High School start. Don't feel bad for him. He no-hit us and struck out 14 two weeks earlier.

7 Games till my White Sox Clinch would have been 6 but they lost 3-2 due to some poor fielding tonight. Still 2 games out of 2nd place in the AL behind the Astros thankfully we have an easier schedule then they do so hopefully we can at least get 2nd in the AL this year. We are at least a year if not two years ahead of schedule for a really good team. Can't wait to see what they add in the off-season as we need a 5th starter and a LH Batter off the bench. I hated giving up Madrigal for Kimbrel as I didn't see the need for him with Hendriks being top notch as it is. But Kimbrel is good as a setup man right now and occasional closer. So as long as he keeps pitching the way he has this year and not revert to what he was before that for a couple years we have a really strong bullpen with those two, Kopech and a LHP in Bummer. Not too many can put out a bullpen like ours right now except the Rays and the Dodgers. The Rays however they just keep throwing them out there and they produce. One thing they are good at is developing pitchers.

Yeah the Rays killed Balt this year but who didn't,lol.

I still think though even if they had gone 10-9 vs them they would be at least tied for the AL East lead with NY, Boston and Toronto. Tampa is not one team I want to face nor Toronto right now in the playoffs.
