I lived in Arizona when I was in College. Vegas is much nicer than Phoenix or Tucson.

The worst part of town is what I’m comparing. You must have a different perspective. If you want to compare nice areas, California is even more expensive. You’re trying to pencil whip me and compare apples to oranges.

San Francisco is in California and California is an expensive state to live in. Why don't you just compare Vegas to Hawaii while your at it. I don't understand what you're trying to prove.

Jesus. The whole point of what I was saying from the beginning was that California prices cause Vegas to grow. It isn’t because Vegas is a top city to live in when considering the desert area it’s in. It’s purely an economic decision to live in Vegas.

Dude, I've built houses and apartment complexes for over 30 years. There was only 170,000 people here in 1972, it's now over 2 million. We had a stretch of 10 years straight where 10,000 people moved here per month. This isn't a recent thing. It's just more Californian's lately. They are fukking up our whole city.

Home ownership drove me from the greatest city I’ve ever lived in. Denver. Where Californians ruined it. I could not afford to own a home there, of any condition, so I moved to a shithole for 15 years, bought a house, and now have enough money to go where I want. Economic decisions are the biggest reason to live somewhere or move to somewhere.

Vegas was the hardest hit city in the nation when Covid hit. Our unemployment rate was 34%. We are just getting back to "normal" now. Our housing is sky rocketing and our gas prices are the third highest in the nation. There's not enough high paying jobs here to justify the cost of housing. Something has to give.

The pandemic was a huge hit to the economy. I think it would have happened no matter who was in charge too, which is why I am not so hard on Trump about it (even though I don’t like him much), and also why I think people will be too hard on Biden if he can’t correct it. I’m not sure they really know how to go about fixing it honestly.

The Chinese tariffs and OPEC cutting oil production isn't helping anything. Trump didn't exactly help the next administration on his way out either. He pretty much left a pile of shitt for Biden to clean up.

I don’t totally agree with that talking point, but I did hate some of Trumps trade decisions. We had a surplus of oil, so I’m not sure how trump was bad on oil production. That’s just not true. The trade tariffs are always stupid though. That was a price raise on all products that we all had to pay. Not just China either. We had tariffs on weird stuff, like Canadian syrup.

OPEC decided over a year ago to lower their production of oil. It had nothing to do with Trump. The USA actually produces more oil than Russia and Saudi Arabia. I never said the oil problem was because of Trump.
