Lining a ported subwoofer box

Should I line my ported subwoofer box?? It has 2 12'' Pioneer subs, 1 rectangular port, 1.5 cu.ft. per sub. Will lining the inside of the box help? How? With what? THANKS

You could probably debate back and forth about it, I've never used it. Not for just a sub box.

Ive used more in Sealed enclosures in the past. even external 6x9 boxes, door cavities ect. Can always try some out on a ported enclosure. Its cheap enough
