Take a look at the Pioneer GM-D9704 as well. Also Apex Audio (Formerly CAB) Has been running NIB B-Stock Sundown Amplifiers as well at a discount. The 500.4 is 299.99 right now but the 200.4 is 199.99 in a B-Stock. Only downside to the B-Stock is that it is a 1 year warranty instead of 2 years.

The Pioneer has done very well on Dyno testing for years, they really are a solid amplifier but of course you can never go wrong with Sundown with their warranty.

I ended up with an audison sr 4.500 from a local dealer...now I need new rca as I have developed an alternator whine

RCA i assume is ran on the opposite side as power wire? Ground your alternator housing.
