38120 vs prismatic 3.2 bank

Is there a reason to avoid the prismatic banks, such as https://www.dhgate.com/product/orig...urce_id=554382979#s2-28-1;searl|1325319652:30 - I'm going to be running 6000+ watts plus a mids/highs amp and I have a 300 amp alternator. Would a bank of 4 be ok for what I need?

IF you wanted to attempt to run those batteries you would need 5s6p to safely run a 6000W amp. And that's assuming they're good batteries with accurate published specs. So you're already up to 2400$ price tag. Now what did you intend to do for busing up this bank?

Did some digging, those are only a 1C discharge for the prismatic cells. That's not going to be good for audio. The 38120HP seem to be where it's at with the 15C discharge and 10AH per cell. I'll build a few banks of those. Thanks everyone.

Why not get into some lithium titanate cells? Pretty much all of them are 10C or greater charge and discharge and they have about 10X the life expectency of LiFePO.
