This shit hit me really hard yesterday, I had A LOT to drink once I heard the news and don't really like a couple of the post I made. It's ok if his death doesn't effect everyone the same way. It's ok that not everyone was a fan. It's even ok that some people didn't like him at all. Everyone's entitled to there opinion and emotions. Personally, it really fucking sucks.

True. He did a lot of good off the court and truly loved the game. I love that he found joy in the fact that he couldn't blow by people anymore. It's a crazy coincidence that Lebron just passed Kobe on the scoring list. And, Kobe was perfectly fine with it. Seeing Lebron wiping away tears was pretty powerful too.

So, it isn't a law that the person the Holiday is being named after has to be a federal employee. So, what's the big deal? MLK was a big part of the story during a terrible time in American history.
