alpine type R vs. Pioneer Premier TS-W3004SPL

both in ported boxes both in 12'' sizes and both with there recomended rms power..not 1 watt over not 1 watt less..which will hit harder? im asking cause a guy at work actually has 2 of the pioneer spl's brand new in the box hes willing to sell for $250 but i can also ge the type r 12's for around $245 so which would you take?

both are great woofers but imo id take the pioneer subs very good all around woofer. type r is good to but my vote is the pioneers

grr i hate these threads. ofcourse i've been through many of these decisions myself just pick the one you like the most, you really can go wrong with either good budget subs.

Heard both have to go with the Premier on this one for sure,just and all around better sub in output and sq,but u can find for way less that 250 a pop

yeah i think last time i cheched the 3004s where like 130 or 140 shipped new on ebay.

The Pioneer 3004spl is an allaround better sub... the type r is very good though

but my vote goes to pioneer

Rs, take em hands down, i dont see how the 3004spl will stack up to teh R. i juss dont see it happening and the alpine is juss a way better sub all around. they get loud and they sound so **** good. they are awesome subs that alot of u underestimate. u guys need to hear a real install wit some Rs and then u guys wouldnt be sayin pioneer. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
