Thanks, I'm glad to here from an actual user (as I am)...but that's a perfect example of the equipment not getting what it needs to perform it's job...and it would make great business sense that if the competition could perform under those circumstances that over the years Lanzar would try to improve thier product in order to compete, but who knows? At the same time, does the amp burning up at that voltage make it a "bad" product? Just give it what it needs.
Hell it's a coin toss...what if that $250 amp does get the job done better than expected, then you've made a great choice.
