S10 Blowthrough.. Where to start?

okay so first off sorry if this happens to be in the wrong forum, im new here, this is actually my first post. But anywho, I have been wanting to do a blowthrough in my S10 extended cab but I have a few questions. Is it better to have the subs facing inward towards the cab or facing towards the rear of the truck? Also, is it better to have the blowthrough be the actual subs or just have it ported into the cab? How big should the box be?

I apologize if some of these are ignorant questions, I'm somewhat new to the audio side of automotive customizing!
