I've been doing some major testings with many various boxes. Anybody in socal that wants to try out some boxes or these DC Sounds subs...let me know. I'll have probably 5-8 different types of boxes you can mess with, just bring your own subs and BEER !!! I have a lot more boxes on the way. Gotta have a So Cal meet by the middle to the end of this month.

Level 4XL 12" and a Level 3 10".

- Left: Single 12" Ported enclosure: 2.0 cf with an Effective 0 - 1,200 watts 35 hz ouput.

- Middle: Single 12" Ported enclosure: 2.0 cf with an Effective 0 - 2,000 watts 35 hz output, flared/bent/kerf port.

- Right: Single 10" Ported enclosure: 1.5 cf with an Effective 0 - 1,000 watts 35 hz ouput

Tuan whats the dimensions on the box for the lvl 3 10? I have one in a 1 cu. box tuned to 36.
I have it at 1.5 cf tuned to an effective 35 hz. I need to build another box with a kerf port. The lvl 3 10 loves a 1.75 cf box though.

what made you chose 2ft^2 for the xl12? when you say testing what do you mean exactly?
It's a standard design, not optimized for anything in particular. Nothing particular about this test other than...throwing it in anybody's car that wants to mess with it. This is simply having fun more or less.

I'm not sure what you mean by "reason to kill a few..."

But I'm surely going to "kill" it with abuse, blow it up to see what it take and then recone it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

everything is a good reason to kill a few... if by that you mean beers and or hours messing with subs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I was able to log in fine, using Chrome if that helps. I don't know anything about the product at all, just found the info and shared the love. :)

Brother in law has some of their 8’s and they are little beasts. Typical cookie cutter product that performs as it should.

Off the shelf design, nothing special and will sound like a bull horn. The best pro audio drivers I’ve heard are the crossfire XTpro6’s. The best...

The formula is Square Root of your target Wattage Multiplied by Ohms. 50Wx4Ohms=200. Square root of 200 is 14.14. So 15v AC is your target.
