agreed! i got the hsk-165's installed last weekend with no deadener yet and am super impressed with the midbass... i'll be updating this log once i do the deadener and get the sub installed.

o.k., long delay getting all of the deadener together and the wiring i wanted, as well as a new h/u //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif so here is the front stage install...

here's the before deadener pic, this was the only way we could figure out to get inside the door without taking the window off the track and so on so we just made due... we did a good layer behind the speaker...

and on to the substage... here was the trunk and gear before, i haven't gotten a pic of the after, but i will say the wires are super crappy looking right now...



i was going to buid a new box, but am leaning toward doing 2 2512's, also before we deadened the trunk i wasn't hitting lows very well, now i'm hitting them just fine, and getting much better output as well...



the amp...



so i decided to do a new run of kicker hyperflex, those that know, man this stuff is such a pleasure to work with, it'll bent around anything... this is a crappy pic of where we went through the firewall... so that's all i have for now, i'll get a couple pics of the trunk deadened and the box and amps and all of that tomorrow...

you haven't seen the trunk, lol... i will say the hsk's sound a whole lot better now that i've got the deadener in...

i dont like the way the speaker wire is routed. why not put htourgh a grommet in the dear seam?

we were looking at it because we didn't like it either, it's actually pinching the wire the way it is now, but we couldn't find a sufficient place to pull it through on the other side, (like where the fuse box and gas/brake peddles are) for whatever reason nissan decided to make it unaccessable //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif to be honest i will probably go back and drill, grommet, through that way...

that would be the best way to do it. if its pinching now then it could lead to a cut wire later. just something to think about
