zx850.4 power wire

In the Kicker manual it states recommended 2ga for the power wire to a zx850.4. I was previously running a 4ga kicker amp kit for my older amp. I will still only be pulling 100x2 and 400x1 off the 850.4, so i wont be coming near the potential of it. Do you think i still need to upgrade to 2ga? Also the fuse in the line is 100amp but the 850.4 uses 3 40A fuses. Its good wire, the kit linked below, but still only 4ga.
