zx2500.1 vs kx2500.1

Wondering if there was any MAJOR differences between the two amps. It seems like they both create the same power (2500w @ 14.4v) and other than the obvious cosmetic differences, is there any reason a ZX is better than a KX?

Same. Just different looks. KX is the old model, ZX is the new model.

KX's have built in fans, ZX's do not

if i had the choice, i would get the KX over the ZX

Thats something I didn't know. And one reason a KX would be better in my situation. I think the amp is going under a seat.

They're very similar.

probably better off doing a search in the amp section. This has been covered many many times. But the zx also had a 24 db crossover and the kx has a fan like mentioned before. I would take the zx over the kx any day of the week
