I am planning on getting 3 10" FI SSD's.

3 Dual 2 ohms: Wired to 1.33 ohms

Can the ZX1500.1, which is 1500rms @ 2ohms, be wired down to 1.33 ohms safely. I have had problems with the amp cutting in and out when wiring it below recommended impendence. So what would you recommend?

3 Dual 4 ohms: Wired to 2.67

My decision is to buy a saz1500d or a zx1500.1 but either one i pick would have to be wired above or below its recommended impendence.. help. If its safe to wire the zx1500.1 @ 1.33ohms, I will get that, but I want to make sure first. Thanks in advanced!

i would suggest holding off on spending the money on the SSD's and upgrade your battery atleast and possibly alternator 160+ amp. possibly run a second battery.
dont got that kinda money or time. Come summertime everything will be sold and money will be put towards college. I ran a saz-1500d on 3 10" bm's no problem. I can't remember what I ran them at, but second batt and alt is out of the question for me at this point. I was in audiosource the other day and they were installing 3 12" Type X's with 3 V12 amps on each sub. I said Fu!CK what kinda electrical upgrades does he have? He said just a second battery.. I said no alternator, he said no thats just dumb lol.. Its like two different worlds. I know I would be better off with upgrades, but im tryin to make do with what I got. I know I can't go bigger than 1500rms on what I got cuz i've done it once before.

i agree you dont HAVE to, but to keep a regulated voltage and not drop to high 11's, you MAY WANT to eventually. at 0.5ohms you will probably kill the amp on stock electrically if you beat down on it a lot. I do, so i went ahead and upgraded. If you play conservatively, you should be ok. I max mine out every day, but thats a choice.

lol ok, which amp you think would draw less power from my electrical system? When I had my bm's I did notice a pretty significant voltage drop, but i tried to be conservative with it. Will be back after lunch, this period is about over.
