It's rated at 1000w rms at 2Ohm. It mates up perfectly with the 15" L7. I've heard they are underrated amps too.

I heard that the 2010 model actually puts out 1250RMS at 2ohms and is verified on its birth cert.

great amp i had it powerin two 15 inch comp vrs for 2 years then one day when i turned my car on it mad a quick pop noise and boom done... amp was used fairly aggressively so id say daily pounding for two years is good

I had one, and it killed two 12" L7's. I had them in a Pro box and it was nasty! You will be happy with the zx1000, I sure was.

I agree with the posts above, Kicker actually made a mark this year with their under rated amps. They actually have relatively low THD for kicker too. You will def. want to upgrade your power supplies for this amp though, they pull a **** load of amps
