Title says it. I have a Kicker ZX350.4 hooked up to 4, 2 ohm Infinity Kappa's rated at 90-100 watts RMS. Just got the amp back from repair and started tuning it today. Had the HI pass filter on. Gains all the way down. Xover freq around 80 on the amp. Head Unit volume was at 27-28 of 35 so about 75-80 percent.
When I start to turn up the gain slowly, when I get to about 1/4 of a turn, the speakers make loud "POPPING" noises very brefiely. The speakers are not even that loud when the noise occurs. they sound very faint but do get louder as the gain is turned up, but not to their full potential.
Any suggestions on what to try?
