Depends. ZV3 will take more power and have a flatter response across the spectrum, whereas the X won't handle as much power (Will still do will over rated), but is designed to dig deep in the low end of the spectrum and won't perform as well on higher notes.

I personally like the low lows. So I would go with the X series. But it doesn't matter what I want, it is your ride.

I have an X-10 in my car right now. It sounds nice, but the newer "high excursion" surrounds take up a lot of cone area.

id rather have the ZV3(ive already had one, also i hear less problems from the zv3 as well, though i know problems can be more or less user error but even so there are still less problems. i ran my zv3 18 on crescendo 3500 @ 1 ohm and it did great on that power tho its only rated for 1500rms,
