Zune to Head Unit Options

I am considering putting in a Kenwood DNX8120 or DDX812 into my 2007 Mercedes C230 Sport. I want to use my Zune to play music and I want it to be good quality, so none of that FM Mod crap.

What options do I have? I see these units have a USB cable, but I dont think it will work. I dont think it has an aux input.

Can anyone shed any light on it?

You will need a head unit that has a aux port. I know there are a couple head units that accept zune's but in my opinion you would be better off with a head unit with aux in and buy a car charger for the zune like i'm doing.

zune core by kicker but its under soundgate. 70 bux. charge an play. sonicelectronix has it. an i just noticed that we just started carrying it(CircuitCity)

I think I can just get a 3.5mm to RCA cable for my zune and run it into the aux inputs in the kenwood instead of buying that whole kit.

It would be nice to be able to control the zune thru the head unit though.

Ok, so the soundgate thing....it used regular RCA inputs and will take a Zune 3.5mm cable into it? I want to use the Kenwood DNX8120, so will it allow me to control it on the head unit?

I may be interested in buying it from you.

I guess I am trying to find out why its better than buying the Zune 3.5mm to RCA cable and a Zune car charger.

I dont know why somebody would want to pass up the zune's interface and use there deck to control the music.

Well I am only considering it for ease. I love the zune interface, but I am just thinking about how much easier it is to read on a 7" screen rather than my 120gb zune screen....particularly in the sunlight.

Don't get me wrong, I liked the Zune.... It just sucked because I couldn't plug it into a Head Unit. My Alpine/Ipod combination has replaced using a CD changer.
