i have a zr240 kicker amp and i really dont know what it could do ?

could this amp push a sub??

b/c i have an old 15' storker and would it be ok to hook this amp up to it ??

I dont think your Stroker would be very loud on 300w.

those amps are pretty well underrated and can do some pretty good power really bridges at 2 ohms and if you can feed it 16 volts it really comes alive..I say use it on the stroker

I dont think your Stroker would be very loud on 300w.

It wouldnt, but the amp pushs far more than 300w. I had a Kicker ZR 360 that was "rated" at 90x2 at 4ohm, 180x2 at 2ohm and 360w bridged mono at 4ohm.

Amp put out 127 per channel at 4ohm, 240ish per channel at 2 ohm and over 500w bridged at 4 ohm mono. At 2ohm mono, amp was over 700w. Kicker really underrated those amps, so it wont push the stroker to its fullest, but it will move her.

so the amp is better for mids and highs

Either way, its strong enough to push subs. I was considering using one to run (4) 12s sealed in 97 or 98 so its got the power, just not a whole lot.

Solid amps though, makes me miss my zr360

The ZR series is when Kicker made their best amps. You don't always have to push a woofer to it's limit at RMS to get the best sound. That ZR 240 will push the Stroker just fine.
