because you should remove the valve core and let the air freely drain.. so theres no seal when you break the bead.
like trying to pop a plasic bag that has a big hole in it.
even when the valve core is out and all the tires are deflated, they can still make a popping sound when u break the bead on tire that has 25k miles on it...
